A couple of advance copies of 'Delivering Happiness' landed on my doorstep this morning and I'm really looking forward to reading it having watched Tony speak at SXSW '09. I've a spare one which I'm going to give away.
Zappos is a remarkable company. They're a bit like an American version of ASOS but with a really interesting company culture. For example they offer new employees $2000 to leave as a way of ensuring they only have staff that want to be there. They spend their marketing budget on putting customer and employee happiness is at the heart of everything they do. As a result word of mouth marketing has seen it grow into a company with an annual turnover of $1 billion.
So, as a thanks for reading my blog, and in the spirit of Zappos, I'll personally deliver my spare advanced copy to a randomly picked Twitter follower (living in Manchester that is) who retweets this blog post. Please use my twitter name (@huey) the hashtag #deliveringhappiness so that I can find you.
